Pumpkin Party from Gebrouwen door Vrouwen is an American-style pumpkin ale with a Dutch twist. The recipe was developed in collaboration with Gia, an American home brewer the Amsterdam sisters met during a trip to Mexico. Brewed with real pumpkin puree and four Dutch malts, this amber beer is seasoned with cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise. The aroma reveals warm pumpkin notes. On the palate, toffee, cinnamon and nutmeg blend with a subtle anise character. The finish is gently bitter with a lingering sweetness that extends pleasantly. A seasonal beer that captures the flavours of autumn.
