This weizen emerged from an ambitious project where a single 2000-litre base batch was crafted into five distinct fruity variants by Brouwerij Brouwersnös in Groenlo. The result is a wheat beer with deep roots in the Overijsselse Vechtdal region. Oranje Leeuw is a Weizen Pale Ale hybrid—spicier than a traditional weizen, yet softer than a pale ale. Top-fermented and bottle-conditioned, it delivers pure flavour and natural carbonation. The beer's rich finish evokes the satisfaction of a hard-won victory.
