Vlaskapelle is a brown ale from Brouwerij Gulden Spoor in Gullegem, brewed according to a traditional recipe from Sint-Antoon. The brewery, which began in 2003 as 't Brouwkot from restaurant 't Rusteel, is committed to using regional ingredients to craft honest beers. This brown ale offers malty and spicy aromatics on the nose. The palate is mildly bitter with a dry finish, complemented by subtle licorice and rock candy notes that round out the character.
