Duchessa is Birra del Borgo's signature beer, the Italian craft ale that introduced the brewery to the world. Brewed with spelt and drawing inspiration from Belgian Saison tradition, it pours a light golden colour topped with generous, creamy foam. The nose is intensely fruity—lemon, apricot, pineapple and tropical notes—with delicate floral and spicy undertones, and a subtle raspberry character. On the palate, sweet malt arrives first, followed by a crisp, dry finish with gentle acidity and lingering bitterness that remains pleasant throughout. A refined, highly drinkable Saison with genuine character and complexity.
