Bevog Brewery in Austria crafts DBA Hagger as a complex blend of barrel-aged barleywines, each matured in different oak vessels. At 13.5% ABV, this ambitious release marries years of careful aging into a dark, layered expression. The pour reveals deep reddish-brown colour with a thick, syrupy body. Aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, caramel and oak emerge on the nose. The palate delivers sweet caramel and toffee notes, woven through with dark fruit, subtle cocoa and roasted character.
