Bikkelha'd is the robust stout from Amelander Bierbrouwerij, brewed on the island of Ameland in a farmhouse near Ballum. Its name means 'rock-hard' in the local Amelands dialect – a fitting description for this beer's bold, full-bodied character.

Deep dark in colour with a fine, creamy head. Brewed with barley and wheat malt, hops, yeast and coriander, this beer is unpasteurised, unfiltered and naturally refermented. The palate shows bitter notes balanced by subtle sweetness and a hint of tartness, with prominent roasted character and coffee undertones contributing to its substantial presence.

Serve at 6-8°C.
