Barrel Wave is a robust Imperial Stout from vandeStreek, brewed in Utrecht by two brothers who favour bold experimentation over convention. This beer matures in both bourbon and beer barrels, creating a striking interplay of contrasting flavours that complement each other.

It pours dark as night with substantial alcohol warmth. The nose reveals oak, tobacco and leather alongside roasted character. On the palate, barrel influence dominates: oak, leather and tobacco take the lead with roasted notes and evident alcohol. This is a beer for those unafraid of depth and intensity.

The finish is dry and lingering, with the 12.6% ABV warmth clearly present throughout.
