Busa dei Briganti
Italy · Founded in 2019
Busa dei Briganti is an Italian craft brewery (birrificio) based in the Veneto region, operating from the area around Padua (Padova) since 2019. The name itself evokes a sense of rebellion and adventure — fitting for a brewery whose own motto speaks of crafting artisan beer and supporting the revolution against industrial brewing power. Located near the Euganean Hills, the brewery combines a strong local identity with a genuine passion for quality craft beer. Brewing on a 12-hectoliter production system, Busa dei Briganti covers a wide range of styles. Their portfolio includes hop-forward beers such as Imperial IPAs and a Neo Aussie IPA (developed in collaboration with BarthHaas), as well as approachable lager styles like their Keller Pils — a golden, hazy 4.3% ABV lager that showcases their versatility. The brewery also ventures into darker, more complex territory with beers like Get Lost, featuring aromas of Peruvian cocoa and mesquite wood, and Misty Morning, inspired by the foggy autumn mornings around Padua. Beyond the brewery itself, Busa dei Briganti operates a birreria agricola (agricultural brewpub) and kitchen in Este, in the Province of Padua, where guests can enjoy craft beer alongside food in a welcoming, well-kept setting with visible fermentation tanks.
