Matthias from Birrificio Maiella is an amber ale from Italy's Abruzzo region, brewed in respect of the Bavarian purity decree. This beer combines three grains—barley malt, soft wheat and spelt—with acacia honey for an organic, full-bodied character. A rich creamy foam crowns the pour, while the nose carries hints of orange alongside caramel and fruit.

At 6.7% ABV, it delivers warmth and depth. Bottle-fermented and hand-touched at the small brewery nestled beneath Mount Maiella, Matthias earned a Bronze Medal at the Brussels Beer Challenge.
