Blond
Wispe Blond is a top-fermented blonde ale from Weesp, a city whose brewing heritage stretches back to the 14th century. Launched in 2009 by three brothers—Jerrit, Jitze and Remko Vellenga—who wanted to restore local brewing to the region, this beer reflects that ambition. Pilsner and caramel malts form the foundation, delivering a full-bodied character with fruity aromas and a natural, clean taste.
Hallertau hops provide a restrained, herbal bitterness that leads to a dry finish with a touch of sweetness. The result is a balanced, traditional blonde ale—approachable yet flavourful, built on craft rather than novelty.
