Lager
Windhoek Lager is brewed by Namibia Breweries, one of Africa's last remaining independent major breweries. Founded in 1920 by two German bankers who consolidated four Namibian breweries, the company has maintained its commitment to brewing according to the Reinheitsgebot.
This European pale lager is made with just malted barley, water and Hallertauer hops. The result is a clean, approachable beer with a pale, bright appearance and a pleasant, refreshing bitterness. The nose shows grainy, malty notes with subtle citrus hints—characteristic of a classic lager style.
Windhoek Lager is recognised for its purity and consistency, having earned multiple gold medals at international brewing awards.
