Open Eye Signal is an Imperial IPA from Whiplash Brewery in Dublin, a brewer that evolved from a weekend project in 2016 into one of Ireland's most respected craft operations. This 8.2% expression is 100% Citra whirlpool-hopped and double dry-hopped with a 50/50 split of Citra and Amarillo (26g/L). The grain bill combines Maris Otter, wheat, oat and Carapils, fermented on London Ale III.

The nose delivers tropical fruit, stone fruit and citrus with floral and grassy undertones. On the palate, a full, creamy mouthfeel carries fruity notes into a dry, assertive bitter finish. A juicy, approachable Imperial IPA that shows Whiplash's skill at balancing complexity with easy drinking.
