Waterloo Double Dark
Waterloo Double Dark is a Belgian Dubbel at 8.5% ABV, brewed in honour of the courage and strength displayed by troops during the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. Produced at the historic Ferme de Mont-Saint-Jean, located on the battlefield itself, this beer carries deep historical significance.
Brewed with roasted malts and bottle-conditioned for secondary fermentation, it develops a powerful and distinctive character. The aroma combines coffee notes with earthy undertones, while the flavour unfolds gradually with a strong, disciplined presence. Its brown colour with a deep red glow and full body make this a substantial and contemplative beer.
