Xyauyù Etichetta Oro is Teo Musso's experimental flagship from Birra Baladin in Piozzo, Piedmont. This 14% barleywine is a living, top-fermented beer that matures for months under the pure mountain air of the Langhe. The 2015 Riserva spent a year aging on Islay casks, developing remarkable depth and character.

It pours dark reddish-brown with minimal head—wine-glass smooth. The nose reveals woody notes, dark stone fruits, and a vinous, port-like quality. On the palate, dark berries emerge with a sweet but never cloying profile, balanced by light, smooth alcohol warmth. The finish is dry and tannic, with lingering complexity that rewards contemplation.
