Waterland Gouden Bocht
Gouden Bocht from Waterland Brewery is an organic blonde ale at 9% ABV brewed in Monnickendam, North Holland. Named after the celebrated bend in Amsterdam's Heerengracht—a coveted neighbourhood lined with elegant canal houses.
This clear, golden beer displays a fine white head. The nose shows fruity hop aromas alongside spicy yeast notes. The palate is gracious and full-bodied, with honey tones and gentle spice. Despite its strength, the beer drinks with surprising ease.
Waterland Brewery commits to organic ingredients only, free from chemicals and pesticides. Founded in 2014 and operating under its current name since 2019, the brewery occupies a converted industrial space between two harbours in Monnickendam.
