Terre 2014 is a Barleywine from Birra Baladin in Piozzo (Piedmont), created as a tribute to Enrico, the father of brewer Teo Musso. Aged in barrels of fine Italian red wines, this beer develops its distinctive dark amber hue with ruby highlights and layered complexity.

Clear in the glass and without head, the nose leads with vanilla and toffee, complemented by caramel and fruit. On the palate, brown sugar, chocolate, and raisins emerge, warmed by 12% alcohol that builds gradually. The finish is delicately peppery and dry, with a lingering mineral edge.

Dense and syrupy-smooth with minimal carbonation, Terre rewards slow sipping and contemplation.
