Zeitgeist is an Imperial Black Weizen IPA from Van Moll, an Eindhoven-based brewery that blends German wheat beer tradition with American hop-forward craft brewing. Born from doubling the recipe of their beer Langharig Tuig in both malt and hops, it features 50% wheat malt in its grain bill. The result is a dark, layered beer where classic weizen character – banana and clove notes – meets fruity and pine-driven hop aromatics.

On the palate, medium sweetness precedes moderate bitterness, with dark chocolate and roasted coffee notes from the malt providing depth. The finish is lightly bitter with a subtle smoky edge. At 8.2% ABV and 45 IBU, Zeitgeist delivers a full-bodied experience that honours both brewing traditions.
