Kasteel Trignac XII is a barrel-aged tripel from Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck in Izegem, brewed with malt, maize, sugar, Belgian hops and yeast. This 12% version of Kasteel Tripel matures in used cognac barrels, lending the beer a warm, wine-like character.

The aroma combines cognac and citrus notes with fruity undertones. On the palate, a full, rounded flavour emerges with vanilla and sweet apple, supported by hop spice. The cognac influence is present but elegant, never overwhelming the beer.

The finish is pleasant with a gentle bitterness that lingers softly. The high alcohol content adds warmth without harshness. A refined tripel for those seeking something stronger and more layered.
