Passchendaele Porter
Passchendaele Porter from Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck is an English Porter brewed in memory of those who fell at the Battle of Passchendaele in 1917. This Izegem-based brewery, with origins dating to 1811, crafted a beer with full body and creamy mouthfeel anchored by deep roasted character.
The aroma presents burnt malt and subtle smoke. On the palate, roasted malt flavours dominate, complemented by notes of red fruit, coffee and caramel. The finish is clean with a light dryness.
At 5.7% ABV, this is an approachable Porter that balances richness with drinkability.
