Specht Lekker is a weizenbock from Bird Brewery, the Amsterdam-based brewery founded in 2016 by beer sommeliers Rik van den Berg and Ralph van Bemmel. This autumn special was launched in 2020 as part of their bird-themed collection and delivers a full, rounded flavour built on a carefully balanced malt blend.

At 8% ABV, this is a robust beer with dark colour and substantial body. It pairs well with winter fare and shines beside a warm fireplace. Bird Brewery brews sustainably: for every hectolitre produced, they plant one tree to offset CO2 emissions from their brewing process.
