Framboise
Timmermans Framboise is a raspberry lambic from the world's oldest lambic brewery, established in 1702 and still based in Itterbeek. Brewed with 60% malted barley and 40% unmalted wheat, this light red-amber beer ferments spontaneously in wooden barrels with wild yeast cultures and aged hops. The nose opens with ripe raspberry and strawberry aromas.
On the palate, bright fruit character meets crisp acidity, with hints of caramel sweetness and subtle vanilla. The finish is dry and vinous, with a lingering tartness and gentle tannins that persist on the tongue.
