Big Belly Brewing from Breda presents this entry in their Liquid Desserts series, where they craft what they call 'sexy beers' with bold flavours. The ninth release combines blackberries and blueberries with maple syrup, evoking a pancake-inspired character.

A base of oats, wheat and pilsner malt provides smoothness and body, while the berry combination delivers subtle acidity and fruity depth. At 8.5% ABV, the beer carries enough weight to support the full flavour profile. Rather than a pure dessert experience, this fruit beer strikes a balance between fruitiness, acidity and sweetness, making it approachable and flavourful.
