Black Damnation X – Double Wood is a Russian Imperial Stout from De Struise Brouwers in Oostvleteren, Belgium. This ambitious beer matured for two years in two distinct barrels: Balvenie whisky and Pedro Ximenez sherry. The result is a complex, full-bodied stout with deep roasted character, dark fruit notes and warming alcohol presence.

The aroma reveals roasted malt, chocolate and coffee, supported by raisin, fig and vanilla notes. On the palate, caramel and roasty flavours blend with black coffee and dark fruit, layered with woody character and a lingering charred finish. The dual barrel aging adds depth and nuance without overwhelming the beer's inherent structure.
