Zwarte Bliksem from 100 Watt Brewery (formerly Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven) is a Black IPA that merges two opposing characters: the roasted bitterness of a stout with the hoppy freshness of an IPA. Also known as a Cascadian Dark Ale, this beer delivers a full-bodied, assertively hopped profile with subtle roasted malt undertones.

On the nose, roasted and coffee notes emerge alongside chocolate, complemented by fruity and tropical hop aromas with a touch of anise. The palate is mildly sweet with pronounced hop bitterness that remains well-integrated. The finish is dry and hoppy, with a full, slightly sticky mouthfeel that carries the beer's character through to the end.
