Spaten Münchner Hell
Spaten Münchner Hell is a Munich Helles lager from Bavaria, brewed by Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu. Historically significant, Spaten pioneered this style in 1894 as the first Bavarian brewery to brew a light-coloured lager, establishing what would become the Helles standard. The beer is built on German Pilsner malt and noble hops, creating a golden, crystalline appearance with a refined balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness.
Clean, crisp and lightly dry on the palate, it offers a smooth, medium body and a lingering finish. A foundational example of Bavarian brewing tradition.
