Er of Snemmt Að Fá Sér? is an India Pale Lager from Smiðjan Brugghús, a brewpub and microbrewery in Vík, South Iceland. The Icelandic name playfully translates to 'Is it too early to have some?'—a nod to the midnight sun that graces the north.

This IPL pours pale golden with a white head and lasting lace. The aroma carries grainy malt, straw, and herbal notes. On the palate, hay, grainy malt, and doughy undertones blend with crisp herbal hops, finishing clean and dry.

At 5% ABV, this is an approachable lager that merges the hop-forward character of an IPA with the crisp, refreshing finish of a true lager. It pairs well with the smoked meats and BBQ fare that define Smiðjan Brugghús's kitchen.
