Night Archive Volume 1 from Sleeping Village Brewing in Oslo is an ambitious Imperial Stout at 12.5% ABV, matured in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Built on a substantial grist of English dark malts and conditioned on Tahitian vanilla beans with coffee, this beer delivers layered richness and complexity.

On the palate, a full mouthfeel with pronounced carbonation carries notes of coffee and roasted malt alongside subtle acidity, while bourbon barrel aging adds warmth and depth. This marks the first release in the brewery's series of spirit barrel-aged Imperial Stouts.
