Vølenbock is a dark bock beer brewed by Bierbrouwerij Volendam 't Vølen in Volendam. The brewery, founded in 2000, takes its name from the foal in Volendam's coat of arms. This bock delivers a full-bodied flavour with pronounced caramel and dark fruit notes, complemented by hints of bread crust and chocolate. At 6.5% ABV, it has the body and warmth expected of a traditional bock.
