10
Trappistes Rochefort 10 is a Quadrupel brewed at Rochefort Abbey, one of the world's most celebrated Trappist monasteries. Developed in the late 1940s and early 1950s, this potent ale is prized for its intricate, layered character. The brew marries Pilsner and wheat malts with candi sugar, coriander, and noble European hops to create its signature complexity.
The aroma reveals dark fruits, banana, toffee and dark chocolate notes. On the palate, the beer is full-bodied and fruity, with pronounced plum, raisin and blackcurrant flavours underpinned by vinous depth. The finish is gentle and well-balanced, warming gradually as the beer opens in the glass.
