Blond
Affligem Blond is a Belgian blonde abbey ale with roots reaching back to 1074, when monks at Affligem Abbey first began brewing. This golden beer honours a monastic tradition while delivering a refined, approachable flavour.
The beer opens with subtle citrus and vanilla notes, supported by a soft, malty foundation. The palate balances hop character with malt sweetness, finishing dry and refreshingly crisp without excessive bitterness. At 6.8% ABV, it provides enough body to satisfy without overwhelming.
Brewed with malted barley, lightly aromatic hops and a single yeast strain, Affligem Blond achieves a smooth, rounded character that has made it a Belgian classic. The beer earned World Beer Awards recognition in 2020 as the world's best pale Belgian style blonde.
