Riedenburger Brauhaus in Bavaria has brewed entirely organic beer since 1994. Dolden Sud emerged when master brewer Michael Krieger's two sons ventured out seeking a new beer style and returned with an unconventional take on the American IPA.

Eight hop varieties—including Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial and Chinook—deliver a distinctive citrus aroma with grapefruit notes and a refined balance between hop bitterness and malt sweetness. The hazy amber beer drinks smoothly despite its 6.5% alcohol and 55 IBUs.

The palate is restrained and approachable, with subtle fruit tones and a light bitter finish that fades quickly. An organic IPA that shows German breweries crafting their own voice within a global style.
