Ramses Stout met Hout is a strong stout at 8.8% ABV, brewed by Brouwerij Brouwersnös in Groenlo. This beer emerged from an ambitious experiment: a single 2000-litre batch of base stout was split into five distinct fruity variants, each with its own identity.

It opens with malt-forward aromas, followed by coffee and a smoky whiskey finish. Wood aging adds complexity without harshness. The three hallmarks of Ramses—wood, salt and malt—converge in a beer built for long cellaring, thanks to ingredients like gale.
