Openluchtmuseum Tripel
Brewed at the Bierbrouwerij Nederlands Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem, this Tripel follows traditional recipes dating to 1750. A top-fermented, blonde and robust beer crafted with pale malt and a measure of wheat malt to support a fine head.
Banana and apricot esters shine in the aroma and palate, balanced by subtle spice notes. The beer displays a full-bodied character with lively carbonation that enhances its presence on the palate. As an unfiltered brew, a light sediment may develop over time.
The brewery itself is an original 18th-century facility relocated to the museum in Arnhem and returned to active production in 1995, telling the story of traditional Brabant brewing heritage.
