Ramses De Strijdende Kater
De Strijdende Kater is a collaborative brew by Ramses Bier and De Bierderie, created as a tribute to Oscar Wagner, a pioneering craft brewer who passed away from ALS in 2015. This strong brown IPA merges the body and depth of an imperial ale with the assertive hop character of an IPA.
At 10% ABV and 60 IBU, the beer balances robust malt notes with citrus-forward hop bitterness. It exemplifies Ramses' craft philosophy: bold flavours and unapologetic character. The collaboration reflects the Dutch craft beer scene's spirit of shared passion and mutual respect.
