Brabants Bruyn is a brown ale brewed in the museum brewery at the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem. The recipe draws from the traditional brewing style of De Roskam, a historic brewery from Ulvenhout that produced brown ale until the 1920s. The original brewhouse, dating to around 1750, was relocated to the museum in 1943 and remains in operation today.

This brown ale presents a soft palate built on dark malt, balanced by a distinctive fresh note that keeps the beer crisp and approachable. At 6% ABV, it is a well-rounded interpretation of Brabantine brewing tradition, reflecting the regional beer culture that once thrived in nearly every village and hamlet. The beer earned a silver medal at the Dutch Beer Challenge in the Innovation/Special category up to 6%.
