Pühaste's Midnight Macchiato Bourbon BA is an intense and full-bodied Imperial Stout at 15% ABV, matured in bourbon barrels. The Tartu-based brewery collaborated with Kokomo Coffee Roasters on this ambitious release, combining roasted malt with Colombian La Claudina coffee and condensed milk for a complex, layered experience.

The nose opens with coffee, dark chocolate and berries, supported by toffee and caramel notes from bourbon aging. The palate balances roasted malt with coffee and chocolate, complemented by dark fruit, plum and fig notes. The finish remains dark and intense, with warming bourbon undertones that elegantly conceal the full 15% alcohol. This is a stout built for contemplation rather than casual sipping.
