Puffin Skögafoss
Puffin Skógafoss is a Quadrupel from Belgian gypsy brewery Puffin, born from a passion for Iceland's landscapes and brewing heritage. At 10.7% ABV, this powerful ale takes its name from Iceland's most dramatic waterfall and is brewed with Þúfan, a local Icelandic ingredient that adds distinctive character.
The beer is crafted with pilsner and oat malts, using Nelson Sauvin hops to create a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Fermentation develops fruity esters—banana, peach and apricot—layered with citrus and spicy coriander and orange notes. A measured bitterness keeps the profile balanced and approachable despite its strength.
This is a full-bodied Quadrupel that bridges Belgian brewing tradition with Icelandic inspiration.
