Brewed by Mannheim's Privatbrauerei Eichbaum, this Imperial IPA receives three hop additions and premium brewer's yeast. The beer balances fruity sweetness with aromas of apricot, orange and blackberry, layered with floral and tropical notes that give way to citrus. The substantial malt backbone gives it weight and character more akin to English bitter traditions than West Coast intensity.
