Virmalised is Põhjala's flagship IPA and the signature expression from Estonia's largest craft brewery. The name honours the Aurora Borealis dancing across the northern sky. This is a powerful, assertively hoppy ale built on American hop varieties that deliver fresh citrus and grapefruit character.

The nose opens with ripe tropical fruit—mango and peach—mingling with sharp citrus notes. On the palate, pink grapefruit juice leads, followed by crisp carbonation and subtle grassy-herbal notes with a hint of pine. The finish is medium bitter and clean, leaving a dry impression.

Barley malt provides the foundation for a well-balanced IPA where American hops command centre stage.
