Põhjala's Strudel Stout is an ambitious Imperial Stout from the brewery's acclaimed Cellar Series, matured in apple brandy and XO Cognac barrels. The Tallinn-based brewer adds apple and Ceylon cinnamon to the base, creating a complex, dessert-forward character.

Rich oven-baked apple and pastry tart filling dominate the nose, followed by dried red fruits and winter spices. The palate brings sweet jam and dark sugar alongside fresh apple slices, with calvados, dessert wine and cinnamon notes shaping the finish.

The body is velvety and smooth despite the 11.5% ABV. This is a stout built for quiet evenings and food pairings with rich desserts.
