Hefe Weissbier

Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier is the flagship of the Munich brewery, established in 1634 by the Paulaner order of mendicant friars. This unfiltered wheat beer is Germany's number one in its style and regarded worldwide as a masterpiece of brewing craft.

The beer pours cloudy golden yellow beneath a thick, creamy head. The nose reveals banana and citrus, complemented by subtle spice notes of coriander and clove. The palate follows suit: sweet malt and wheat with citrus fruit character, supported by robust carbonation that fills the mouth. The aftertaste is assertive but not harsh.

The brewery's specially cultivated top-fermenting yeast gives this beer its unmistakable character. At 5.5% ABV, it is an approachable beer that balances freshness with complexity.
