Heimwee is a collaboration between Nevel Artisan Ales and Brauerei J. Kemker, two breweries dedicated to wild, naturally fermented beer. This complex sour blends a Golden Sour base with spelt flakes, lavender, and a barrel-aged version of their Gruit Ale Weder. Caramel and plum notes alternate with fresh, minty accents throughout.

Nevel brews exclusively wild beers using local ingredients: heritage grains, fruit, herbs, and botanicals. This philosophy is evident in Heimwee, where traditional brewing techniques and sustainability are paramount. The beer is distinctly rustic and unpolished, displaying the layered complexity characteristic of a fermented sour ale.
