Gründer
Gründer takes its name from the founder of Privatbrauerei Moritz Fiege, a Bochum brewery established in 1878. This Dortmunder Export-style beer honours the brewery's origins and draws on a recipe dating to 1736. The brewmasters blend pale and caramel malts, finishing with the soft Hallertauer Tradition hop variety for a harmonious balance.
Gründer displays a golden hue and a malty, sweet nose with delicate hop character. The palate is full-bodied and grounded, with toffee-like sweetness and pleasant bread-dough notes. The finish is dry and well-integrated, with a gentle bitterness that sits comfortably alongside the malt foundation.
