Hendrik 1 is Mommeriete's Maibock, brewed by husband-and-wife team Gert and Carina Kelder at their family brewery in Gramsbergen since 2004. True to the original German Maibock tradition, this beer balances generous hoppy character with slightly elevated alcohol to stay refreshing throughout the summer. Gert sources fresh yeast annually from German brewery Krombacher and uses blonde malt from Weyermann in Bamberg.
