Faro
Lindemans Faro is a distinctive Belgian lambic from Vlezenbeek, brewed by a family with over 200 years of heritage. This faro emerged in the late 1970s when the historic Brussels style experienced a revival—spontaneously fermented lambic enriched with brown candi sugar.
The beer marries lambic's characteristic tartness with a balanced sweetness. The nose blends fruity character, subtle funky notes and sugary undertones. On the palate, candi sugar leads, followed by a gentle acidity and dark fruit hints. The finish remains refined and approachable, never cloying.
At 4.5% ABV, Faro is a light, refreshing brew suited to warm weather or as an aperitif. Its sweet-sour interplay sets it apart from both straight lambic and fruit variants.
