Val Dieu Blond
Val Dieu Blond is brewed at Abbaye du Val-Dieu in Aubel, Belgium, following recipes inspired by the original brewing traditions of the Cistercian monks. It is Belgium's only abbey beer brewed entirely within a living monastery. The beer presents a bright golden colour with a clean white head.
Malt-forward aromas lead into a palate of yeast, caramel and subtle spice, with a pleasant hop bitterness and dry finish. The 6–8 week brewing process yields a balanced, crisp blonde that avoids heaviness while maintaining character. A straightforward abbey ale that respects its monastic heritage without pretension.
