Les Trois Mousquetaires crafts this Porter Baltique in the traditional Baltic style—brewed and fermented as a bottom-fermenting lager. The result is a black beer with a luxurious, full mouthfeel and robust character. Lagering and yeast selection give this strong beer (10% ABV) its signature smoothness.

The Quebec brewery carefully blended roasted malts to balance sweet, dark fruit notes against mild bitterness. The nose reveals dark fruit, cherry and chocolate with a whisper of smoke. On the palate, coffee, caramel and oak emerge, finishing warm and lightly bitter—a fitting conclusion to its alcohol strength.

This Porter Baltique earned gold at the 2010 World Beer Awards as the world's best Baltic Porter.
