Blanche Watou Witbier
Blanche Watou is Leroy Breweries' response to the witbier boom that swept through Belgium in the mid-1980s. This refreshing wheat beer combines regional hops from Poperinge with ungerminated wheat and herbs that give it its distinctive character.
In the glass, a hazy golden liquid sits beneath a modest white head. The nose opens with aromatic coriander, followed by fresh citrus and mild orange notes. The palate echoes this profile: spice and citrus lead, then give way to a light tartness and a dry, clean finish.
A thirst-quenching beer built for warm days, with gentle carbonation and an approachable body.
