Zubr
Żubr is a strong Polish pilsner at 6% ABV, brewed continuously since 1768 at the historic Dojlidy Brewery in Białystok. The name means bison, evoking the ancient symbol of the Białowieża Primeval Forest. It is Poland's second most popular beer, produced by Kompania Piwowarska.
The beer displays a soft, slightly sweet character with a full body and restrained hop bitterness. Brewed with natural water from local sources, quality barley malt, aromatic hops and lager yeast, it achieves a balanced profile with gentle carbonation. A straightforward, accessible lager rooted in centuries of Polish brewing tradition.
