König Pilsener
König Pilsener is the flagship beer of König-Brauerei, a Duisburg-based brewery with over 160 years of brewing heritage. Founded in 1858 by Theodor König, this German Pilsner is brewed using traditional methods with golden barley malt, aromatic hops and mineral water.
The beer pours a bright golden yellow with a fine white head. The aroma is grainy with spicy notes and subtle sweet fruity character. On the palate, it strikes a balance between malty bread-like flavours and herbal hop bitterness, finishing with a clean, dry hop-driven aftertaste.
At 4.9% ABV, König Pilsener is an approachable Pilsner best served at 6–8°C. Medium-bodied and well-balanced, it avoids extremes in favour of subtle, refined character.
